Public bug reported: I have created a live usb of Ubuntu 12.04.1 from Windows 7 using "UNetbootin" and "universal usb installer", everything works fine (the boot process, the unity desktop...) but when try to install Ubuntu side by side with Windows and when the installer shows "scanning the CD- ROM..." on the bottom I receive this error message "An attempt to configure apt to install additional packages from the CD failed.".
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my machine using a live usb before (created with startup disk creator from ubuntu) and i didn't had this issue. Thanks.
