details on the segfault that you're experiencing, so it's difficult to
tell what may be going wrong. However, it may be possible to get more
details with this procedure:
Could you please open a terminal (ctrl-alt-t) and type:
sudo apt-get install -f checkbox-gtk
If it still shows an error, please copy the entire terminal output (go
to the menu, use Edit->Select All and then Edit->Copy) and paste it in a
comment on this bug report.
