Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-driver-tdfx
I can't make 3d acceleration work on a voodoo 4 4500 card.
It first complain about libglide missing (fixed with apt-get install libglide3)
and then I have this with glxinfo :

module tdfx is loaded, and xorg.conf using tdfx driver and set up for
dri (and 16b resolution).
