The 3.6-rc3 kernel just hangs on boot, with a screenful of messages
about USB devices, which appears unrelated to the hang. No response to
Ctrl-F*.
That kernel is for quantal; this system is precise. Was that deliberate?
Instead of trying to fix this, I'm going to go with my original plan and
install gnome-shell remix. Hopefully this won't affect testing.
