Can you please do `$ ubuntu-bug ubiquity ` while the installer is hanging?
This will collect /var/log/syslog & /var/log/installer/*
You can achieve this either by switching to a different TTY, or running the
installer from the Live Session ("Try Ubuntu")
Without further information, there isn't much we can do to resolve this.
