The issue here is that /etc/grub.d/README is trying to be interpreted by
update-grub. This is probably due to permissions on the file and you
should execute the command 'sudo chmod -x /etc/grub.d/README' in a
terminal and then try running 'sudo update-grub' again. Thanks and good
