Note that I can slightly reduce the horizontal dimension of your sample file as per the attached screenshot.
I can also do this for my personal KMM file and by the same amount. This is NEW behaviour. When the problem was originally reported, no horizontal resizing was possible. Note that the resizing causes the KMM file to be modified. For me, this is curious and unexpected behaviour.
