@ogra -- that error there implies we are trying to copy the newly
created initrd.img-version to initrd.img (the current kernel link), but
that should not be a copy it should be a symbolic link in Ubuntu.  In
the past I have seen this with x86 when the contents of /etc/kernel-
img.conf have been lost or dammaged (by an update in my case).  Could we
get the current contents of /etc/kernel-img.conf attached please.
