Public bug reported:
Unfortunately I am unable to to get update manager to work. When I load
it up, bar fulls up half then this message:
Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with MergeList
/var/lib/apt/lists/security.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_precise-
security_main_i18n_Translation-en, E:The package lists or status file
could not be parsed or opened.
Possibly why I always receive a message that ubuntu has a problem and I
should report it and then never can...
Not terribly experienced with ubuntu so any help appreciated. Cheers.
