Mysql is restricted in terms of what it can access by apparmor - if you
use non-standard locations then you need to update the apparmor profile
to include them.

These can get set in /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.sbin.mysqld - you will
need to add something like:

  /mnt/Work/mysql r,
  /mnt/Work/mysql/** rwk,
