Public bug reported:
There's a very odd problem that's plagued the Valencia package that
ships with Ubuntu for some time. I believe the following steps will
always reproduce the problem.
* Install Valencia and enable the plugin in Gedit
* Open a Vala file that's part of a project
* Position the text cursor on a symbol that's defined in another file
* Hit F12 to jump to the symbol definition
* Try to click on a different tab
Note that Gedit immediately switches back to the tab that you F12'd to.
If you build Valencia from source, this issue does not occur.
