Hi Glen,

You should press either the "Yes" or "No" buttons when responding to a
test. Pressing "Next" skips to the next test leaving the currrent one
unresolved. Tests that ask you to press the "Test" button will
automatically highlight what they think is the correct response but it's
up to you to "confirm" by pressing the highlighted button again.

This is a UI quirk that will be addressed for Ubuntu 12.10, see this bug
