To Victor (vic-tor),
Like you, I was getting the exact same error message as above in my
.config/tomboy/tomboy.log, with the GUI "Details" window being empty.
Deleting my .config/tomboy didn't fix anything either.
I was able to fix the problem by going into Edit > Preferences >
Synchronization Tab and pressing "Clear" buttong, then reauthenticating
through the Ubuntu One web login.
