Public bug reported:

I have problems with random crashes when I shut down and reboot the
system. When I run in terminal "dmesg | grep" IOMMU "muycaracteristico
returns an error of:

Aperture too small (32 MB)
No AGP bridge found
Your BIOS does not leave a aperture memory hole
Please enable the IOMMU option in the BIOS setup
This costs you 64 MB of RAM
Mapping aperture over 65536 KB of RAM @ c000000

the fact is that in my bios I have no option to opt iommu
apparently has to be supported by the chipset
I have a 4G memory and the processor is an AMD Athlon64 x2
and motherboard chipset 785g asrocka785gmh
I use ubuntu 64 bit version with kernel 3.2.29 but I have noticed that with the
3.5.13 kernel also produces the same error

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
