What you want is not an FFe but a backport request. If you want to have
a package backported from the development release to a stable one (12.04
is stable), then please have a look at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports.
What you have to do is use 'requestbackport' from ubuntu-dev-tools and
follow the instructions.
