After a lot of testing finally find what was causing the problem, it
sound strange to me that I was the only one efected but I am sure others
have the same problem but never ask for help.

Here is how to recreate the problem:
1. Install Kubuntu or Ubuntu and the install kubuntu-desktop
2. Select under K, System settings, Application Appearance, GTK+ Appearance,
select: Oxygen-gtk on Widget style.
3. Install Evolution email client
4. Open Evolution, compose new Email, type some thing, switch from Plain text
format to Html format, try to type some thing else and you will notice the
keyboard does not respond at all in evolution until you close the Window where
you activate the Combo box.

So the problem is in the: Oxygen-gtk widget style provided by oxygen-
gtk2 or oxygen-gtk3, like I said before it is shame this specific style
have that type of problems since it is the one the that give KDE and
Unity apps a uniform style.

I hope some body will fix this big bug soon, mean while the only hope
will be using any other widget style.

Regards,
            Alonso M.
