Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nginx

In the gutsy version of the nginx package (0.5.26) the default
nginx.conf file at /etc/nginx/nginx.conf has "include conf/mime.types".
Relative include paths are relative to --prefix as specified in
./configure. The package leaves this unspecified so all paths are
relative to /usr/local/nginx. This prevents nginx from starting
immediately after install.

Changing nginx.conf to refer to /etc/nginx/mime.types fixes the problem
and the server starts correctly.

** Affects: nginx (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
