My soundcard is an ASUS Xonar DG. My mic won't work; it's not muted but
it appears to be disabled in hardware somehow. I've checked and rebooted
into Windows, where the mic works fine. I'm pretty sure I've got the
right drivers installed but I'm new to Linux so I could be mistaken.
