I see that 12.10 beta 1 has been released and this contains an updated kernel (3.5.0-14), is it worth testing with this or as I have confirmed the bug is in the 3.6 upstream release there is no need.
Still no response from upstream, should this bug not be marked as critical as it has been reproduced on 2 different systems and has caused data corruption? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1042369 Title: SCSI bus errors with 3TB HDDs + data corruption To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1042369/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
