Daniel, thanks, adding LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 to /etc/environment does provide a working system. The performance is very poor however, taking seconds to re-draw menu dropdowns for example. Is that what I should expect once the bug is fixed fully or am I overly slugging the system by setting that flag? Performance was perfectly acceptable with untity-2d.
