This issue indeed persists. The easiest way to check the status of this
issue is to review http://packages.qa.debian.org/n/neverball.html and
the current neverball changelog. Once neverball is sufficiently updated
in Debian to surpass Ubuntu, the problem no longer exists. The reason
for this bug is to encourage such checking, as the current versioning
will cause the next Debian upload not to appear on merges.ubuntu.com as
a merge candidate.
