closing it. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make

As it stands, the manual pages for rsync include information that the specific
commands you listed as rsync -v dirsource/ dirtarget/ will not send the
recursive files and directories to the target; essentially normal and expected
behaviour for the program. Please see man rsync for more information or feel
free to post your comments and questions through the support channels.
