Note that testing was inconvenient, as this kernel is not supported by
the dkms tool, so I can't install the wl module; the open source
broadcom wifi module has disappeared in this release, so no network
while testing... :(
radeontool gave exactly the same error as before, most things seemed to
work right.
To note: with linux-image-3.2.0-31-generic the machine never gets shut
down, it stays on until I press the button; with linux-
image-3.6.0-030600rc5-generic it shuts down correctly...
I hope one day I will buy new hardware and it will work without having
to wait one year :(
