Okay, please keep the following in mind:

1.  I have now, in response to your request, reduced my perspective on this bug 
to simply item A above, item B now being addressed in bug 122048.
2.  I have attached a ScreenShot.png showing you the primary popup I'm 
referring to in item A.  This does not include the previous dialog with the 
<Make Another Copy> button, and obviously this shows the mistake I made in my 
description.  It is the <OK> button on this popup that one would hit over and 
over  waiting for the blank disk to be recognized, not the <Make Another Copy> 
button, which is on the previous dialog.
3.  Again, I recommend a wait of a second or so, or better an actual attempt to 
see if a disk is in the process of being mounted and corresponding proceeding 
only when the mounting process succeeds in a reasonable amount of time.  Having 
the dialog come back and immediately tell you it's not there when it's in the 
process of mounting is just wrong and confusing to the typical user.
