Public bug reported:

I was trying to install Ubuntu 12.04 LST using the Install alongside Windows7
option, but my mSATA connected SSD (which I wanted Ubuntu to install on) was
not shown in the dropdown menu. Only my HDD could be selected. But when I tried
the Advanced Installation option, the SSD was shown there.
Also after unplugging the physical HDD from the computer the SSD showed up even
in the Alongside Windows7 install option.
