Dear Gary Your update to colord has worked for me. I no longer am getting the apport crash reports on 12.10 or 12.04. I applied the fixes maybe two or three days ago and have booted into both 12.10 and 12.04 at least 5 or 6 times since the fix was applied without any errors or crashes.
