By the way, I should say that during normal work at the computer I occasionally come across full GUI freezes (or maybe the whole system freeze, dunno how to check); to unfreeze I have to hit a key on the keyboard or the mouse 8) . This issue I "obtain" when I upgraded from Karmic to Lucid (Karmic was so rock solid for me). I heard that such issues with Lucid default kernel, but upgrading to linux 3.0 kernel didn't resolve the issue. :(
So what? Today my comp didn't woke fully again and I habitually tried to ssh to it from my notebook ... but failed because cannot "ping" it (no ip address). The last way was to check ethernet connection to the router, I switched the cable in and out ... voala, the computer woke at once, without any ssh kicking... So one may think that it was that full freeze again I have written above. :/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993941 Title: [drm:drm_mode_getfb] *ERROR* invalid framebuffer id - fail resume from hybernate To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/993941/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
