Public bug reported:
When trying to log into Ubuntu Software Center with my existing SSO
credentials, the SSO client indicates that "You are now logged into
Ubuntu Software Center", however, upon clicking the close button, the
SSO client window comes back up and we're back where we started, and
still not logged into Ubuntu Software Center.
I assume not being signed into Ubuntu Software Center is a prerequisite
for reproducing this bug.
Step to reproduce:
1. Bring up the SSO window (I was able to do this by either selecting
"Turn on Recommendations" or File -> "Re-install previous purchases")
2. Select "Already have an account" at the bottom of the SSO window.
3. Sign in with your Ubuntu SSO creds.
4. Upon successful login the window displays the message, "You are now
logged into Ubuntu Software Center", click the close button.
5. The Ubuntu Software Center SSO client now comes back up prompting you
to create an account, an we're back to square one. Repeating the
process multiple times yields the same results.
I've made sure my system is fully up to date and rebooted my box to no
avail.
