The next thing to check is to see if down-grading the updates solves the problem. Please run:
wget http://people.ubuntu.com/~kees/scripts/srcpkgs chmod +x srcpkgs sudo apt-get install $(./srcpkgs evolution-data-server 1.10.1-0ubuntu1) That should downgrade all the packages from the update. Reboot, and see if the behavior remains.
