I realized it was a bad connection with the Wireless Network, not Ubuntu, my System is working fine now.

Installation stalled on first try. Second Try was able to Format Hard Drive and Install Ubuntu 9.10 After installation took laptop to Coffee Shop with Wifi, and was unable to connect. Ubuntu was not detecting my Internal Wireless Card at all. Plugged in a Hi-gain Wifi Adapter with two antennas that I got from China, Ubuntu recognized this Adapter, and detected the Wifi networks. It after inputting the Network Key it connected to the Network, yet would not display any HTML Pages. All Webpages errored stating "cannot connect to server" Even though Ubuntu detected the Networks and showed I was CONNECTED. I went all through the Network Connections and double checked everything and found nothing wrong. Then just as I was about to give up and go home Ubuntu popped up an Error Message that said "Server Broken" I have no idea what this means or how to Fix it. Tried to Boot with USB drive with New Version of Ubuntu (Thinking I would just re-install a different Version and be done with the problem) but Ubuntu does not Detect the Bootable USB Drive which I created using a Desktop with Ubuntu 8.10 on it and the Startup Disk Creator program. Tried sticking the 9.10 CD into the CD Drive and tried to boot with that, (Thinking I would just re-install 9.10 and fix the problem) and even when I went into the Setup options in the CMOS and tried to set it up to boot from the CD or the USB Ubuntu 9.10 would not detect either the USB OR the CD Disk of 9.10. You guys really need to work on the installation process, I have been playing around with Ubuntu for a few years now and you have made absolutely NO Progress on the Installation Problems. It feels like if I make the Choice to go with Ubuntu I am damned to spend most of my time just trying to get it to WORK. It should not be that way. If you handed this Program into a Teacher and they could not even get it installed and working, what kind of a Grade do you think you would get? There is no excuse for this. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1053172 Title: Ubuntu 9.10 "Server Broken Error" Status in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Installed Ubuntu 9.10 on Newer Model Toshiba Satellite Laptop with i7 Processor 1TB HD and 8GB of Ram.
