sorry to bring up this old bug but i think i have a regression using
today's daily lubuntu on a 15" powerbook g4 powerpc. same symptoms.
busybox wont' let me do much but i can uname-a and this gives me 3.5
which is clearly greater than 3.4, so that doesn't appear to be the fix.
like the OP, i can't get to a terminal because it doesn't boot, but i
would be happy to help in any way i can.
