This is a usability issue -- I have not been able to get Sept. 20th
"quantal-desktop-amd64.iso" build of 12.10 (size 801112064) cksum
414541630, to successfully install.  Not in a VirtualBox virtual
machine, nor as a second install as a dual-boot configuration.

Title:
  Trying to install 12.10 beta in a VirtualBox machine, using custom
  partitions as non-custom can't install grub.  This also failed, then
  grub crashed when I cancelled the installation.
