Perhaps this bug can be set to "fix committed" anyway: I have loads of fonts installed. But loading a few hundred fonts seems to be much faster than pre-rendering all the icons. If loading all the fonts is a bug - or a posible enhancement - we could open a separate issue for that, instead.
