Were you experiencing the issue you describe at the time you filed this
bug? If so, which (if any) non-functioning devices were plugged in while
bug data were being collected?

You said that _some_ devices stop working; I assume then that there are
other devices that continue to work? Do you notice any commonalities
between the devices that continue working versus those that do not (e.g.
those that continue working all have some external power source, either
batteries or A/C, whereas those that stop working do not)?

After this happens, do all devices behave the same way regardless of
which USB port they are plugged into?
