It's unfortunate that the gtk theme appears to be inactive but you can easily modify the .xpi to allow installations on newer versions of seamonkey. Just extract the install.rdf file from the .xpi archive using file roller (or other archive program). Then just modify the max version number and re-add the install.rdf file back to the archive.
I have attached an already modified .xpi file in case anyone wants to have gtk theme support. I am currently running seamonkey 2.12 on Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit and it appears to work okay. ** Attachment added: "modified gtk theme to support newer versions of seamonkey on linux" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seamonkey/+bug/925443/+attachment/3347099/+files/gnomerunner_gtk-0.0.8-sm-linux-MOD.xpi -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/925443 Title: SeaMonkey should use GTK icons To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seamonkey/+bug/925443/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
