It's unfortunate that the gtk theme appears to be inactive but you can
easily modify the .xpi to allow installations on newer versions of
seamonkey. Just extract the install.rdf file from the .xpi archive using
file roller (or other archive program). Then just modify the max version
number and re-add the install.rdf file back to the archive.

I have attached an already modified .xpi file in case anyone wants to
have gtk theme support. I am currently running seamonkey 2.12 on Ubuntu
12.04 32-bit and it appears to work okay.
