Hi Daniel,
thank you for your help. Unfortunately the proprietary driver (fglrx) doesn't
work with my graphics card Radeon HD 3400 in Ubuntu 12.10, whereas it did in
Ubuntu 12.04.
Hope it will be solved by AMD before the final release of Ubuntu 12.04 (bug
1032672).
