Public bug reported:
Versions prior to 1.9 do not work anymore. Quantal currently includes
version 1.7. Better to remove it entirely than to ship with a completely
broken version.
By the way, since I am the author, I receive and read on the Ubuntu
Software Center all kinds of negative comments because of this
"packaging laziness". So please, if it has to stay that way, just remove
it.
