Hi Joseph, I tried testing it and get an error when installing the headers:
sudo dpkg -i linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic_3.6.0-030600.201209302035_amd64.deb (Reading database ... 348324 files and directories currently installed.) Preparing to replace linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic 3.6.0-030600.201209302035 (using linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic_3.6.0-030600.201209302035_amd64.deb) ... Unpacking replacement linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic ... dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic: linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic depends on linux-headers-3.6.0-030600; however: Package linux-headers-3.6.0-030600 is not installed. dpkg: error processing linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic (--install): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured Errors were encountered while processing: linux-headers-3.6.0-030600-generic I don't want to install quantum though. I have "real" work to do :). I like 12.04 and like the GNU/Linux environment because I can just work. I would be more interested in testing some 12.04 kernels... Thanks for the help though!
