Public bug reported: Client : quantal beta2 Server : precise
I know cups dropped cups sharing but both the server and the client I have have avahi running and sharing is not working anyway since I upgraded to quantal (and thus cups 1.6.1). This is a serious regression as we can't possibly ask all our users to manually add several printing queues at each of the location they can be. There are many other regressions with cups 1.6.1 (see for example the list here : https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=735404), maybe it'll be safer to downgrade cups until the features Apple dropped are properly ported elsewhere.
