Public bug reported:
I have ACER Ferrari 3400 laptop. 3D acceleration works fine on Feisty,
but not on Gutsy tribe-1 and tribe-2. It's something about AGP
detection/support... Here's something to start with:
kern.log
Jun 30 17:24:45 ubuntu kernel: [ 178.496000] [drm:radeon_cp_init] *ERROR*
radeon_cp_init called without lock held
Jun 30 17:24:45 ubuntu kernel: [ 178.496000] [drm:drm_unlock] *ERROR* Process

Xorg.0.log
(WW) RADEON(0): [agp] AGP not available
(EE) RADEON(0): [agp] AGP failed to initialize. Disabling the DRI.
(II) RADEON(0): [agp] You may want to make sure the agpgart kernel module is
loaded before the radeon kernel module. <- How do I check that?
lsmod
...
amd64_agp 13700 1
evdev 11136 6
radeon 125472 0
drm 83348 1 radeon
agpgart 35016 2 amd64_agp,drm
