Hi Thomas, no, I am not compiling the kernel on my own, I am using Ubuntu 12.04 with the prepared quantal-Kernel.
I tried the new kernel now with interesting results: Sound is still crippled, but a little less than before maybe. However, as soon as I start sound recorder and hit the record button to get a demo for you, the sound suddenly is ok. Something, that sound recorder does when you hit record, heals it. Very strange. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1055188 Title: crippled sound after installing kernel 3.6rc6 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1055188/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
