Hello - Thanks for the bug report.
Only the key signature is displayed in /etc/mtab. To derive the key from
this signature, you'd have to be able to reverse the SHA-512 hash
function. That is not known to be possible.
Note that this same key signature is stored in the plaintext metadata of
every encrypted file. It identifies which mount key was used when the
file was created. By design, the key signature is not considered to be a
secret.
