I just Ran emacs 23

I was able to do some basic editing, and run a shell, and uyse emacs to
look for processes with the word "emacs" in them:

aallison@Calcifer:~$ ps -efa | grep -i emacs
aallison 4606 1 11 20:50 ? 00:08:17 /usr/lib/firefox/firefox
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emacs23/+filebug/78074a20-0e15-11e2-9698-68b5996a96c8?field.title=packag
aallison 5338 1 3 21:59 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/emacs23
aallison 5465 5342 0 21:59 pts/0 00:00:00 grep -i emacs
aallison@Calcifer:~$

... so whatevere the "bug" is, it does not seem lo limit my basic
functionality fpr emacs.
