As I do not normally get the grub menu, I'm very nervous about playing with the kernel and additionally am not sure when I'll have the time it would take to do this right and un-do any potential additional trouble.
I'll note however that this computer came with wireless onboard. I ignored it until this problem cropped up but activated it when the wired networking became so unreliable. Both connections have been simultaneously active for 24 or so hours now without incident. I can't see how much traffic is flowing through which interface, so I'm not sure how meaningful this is. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1061301 Title: forcedeth constantly crashing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1061301/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
