Quarara, This actually helped and now I can see my touchpad:
↳ AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint id=14 [slave pointer (2)] However, for some reason the mouse moves very choppy in comparison with the previous driver. I installed Synaptiks and tweak the settings and it seems to help a little. Are you using the systems settings to tweak your touchpad or you have any other program?
