For those of you that are still interested, please test the device using the latest mainline kernel. Instructions on how and which version of the mainline kernel to install are located at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds. Type in a terminal:
uname -a then search for the closest mainline kernel here, http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/info/kernel-version-map.html. For example, the output of the above command from my computer is: Linux casino 3.0.0-26-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Wed Sep 5 08:37:56 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux I'm running Oneiric, so I would look in the oneiric table on http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/info/kernel-version-map.html for the 3.0.0-26.42 Ubuntu Kernel Version and note that the corresponding Mainline Kernel Version is 3.0.42. Next, I would search for the 3.0.42 kernel at http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ and enter the v3.0.42-oneiric folder. Finally I would follow instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds#Installing_Mainline_Kernels to determine the appropriate files to download and install. Once you have installed the mainline kernel, reboot and select the newly install mainline kernel from the grub menu. With the device plugged in, follow instructions for adding additional debug information at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies#Adding_debug_info_to_a_bug_report and attached the logs as separate attachements. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/659294 Title: Behringer BCD2000 driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/659294/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
