Public bug reported:
After quantal installation and do the following
1. After the installation login
2. Log into the guest session (by clicking the gear sign and selecting the
guest session)
3. Then again click the gear sign and then select the orignial user account (
do not enter the password)
4. Now click the power button on the top right corner and select either restart
or shut down
5. Click Shout down or Restart on the pop up dialog
( now it should be observed that the machine does not reboot/ shutdown)
