Hello, this bug with the mate desktop and bluetooth not working correctly is still present with linux mint 13 64 bits and mate 1.4.0 installed with the instructions from mate-desktop.org.
However the instructions above on how to downgrade the mate- bluetooth_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb and libmatebluetooth_1.2.0-1_amd64.deb packages works well.
