Steve, I understand maybe this is not a bug in resolvconf. But, there`s nothing on my environment that affect permissions of this file. We have been trace and trying to understand about 3 days until now. Do I need to move this pakage to package manager? 3 people confirmed till now. I`ll make the last test which is depoy a new Ubuntu 11.04 and upgrade it to 12.04. I`ll report here.
