Binary package hint: gimp
The following does NOT happen when I start gimp this way:
LANG="C" gimp
on my german fawn this happens:
-in the gimp, load a picture
-select something
-goto Filter --> Rauschen --> Schmelzen
(english: Filter --> Noise --> ??? (try it.. most of them in this category
produce the error in german)
-apply the filter
then I get this message:

Das Plugin >>randomize<< ist abgestürzt
(/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/randomize)
Das abgestürzte Plugin hat GIMP eventuell durcheinander
gebracht. Am besten speichern Sie Ihre Bilder jetzt ab und
starten GIMP neu

it says the plugin >>randomize<< crashed and I should save the picture
and restart gimp.
anyway the filter IS applied!
If you need more information I will surely try to give it to you.
